Designers Rui Pereira and Hafsteinn Juliusson, have created a collection of dining plates for HAF, that reminds us of the fundamental values of healthy eating.

These plates have different proportions for people with different needs.

The archetype of the ceramic plate is enhanced with explanatory graphics and distinctive colors.

The plate comes in three types: Diet, Extra ordinary and Supersize.

Its going to be produced in Iceland by small ceramic workshop.

Rui Pereira

Rui Pereira born in Portugal graduates from product design in Porto and Valencia, Spain.

In 2009 graduates from the Interior and industrial design master from the Scuola Politecnica di Design, Milan.

At this moment lives and works in Milan, Italy.

Hafsteinn Juliusson

Hafsteinn Juliusson is an Industrial/Interior designer from Reykjavik,
Iceland living and working in Milano, Italy.

He graduated with a BA degree in product design from the Icelandic
Academy of the Arts in Reykjavik 2008. He then earned his Masters  degree from Sculoa Politecnica in Milano 2009.

In his work he has aspired to solve his projects with few objectives in mind. Hafsteinn likes to approach design from new perspective and reach a diverse range of people. In his design he likes to be involved with society, ecology and try to avoid mainstream mass production. As a designer Hafsteinn has no special focus, he is fascinated by simple things with fun solutions which have a rich and strong concept.

In january 2009 he established HAF by Hafsteinn Juliusson which is a company manufacturing  and distributing his design products. This company is based in Reykjavík, Iceland and in Milano, Italy.
